How can it nearly be a year ago that this wonderful couple, Emma and Aaron, celebrated their love at their twilight wedding at Stonelees Golf Centre. Just look at the blue skies, the blossom on the trees … and memories of a fabulous time spent with families and friends. The gardens at Stonelees always look amazing and there is such attention to detail … and although thunderstorms were forecast, we had the most amazing and incredible day … wall to wall sunshine to match the smiles of my lovely bride and groom.
I’m used to capturing bouquet tosses but this one was different. I’d been given the heads up that Emma’s brother was going to propose to his girlfriend … who had no clue as to what was going on … and I am delighted to say that she said “yes”!
At Stonelees, we get the opportunity to go out around the grounds in a golf buggy. This gives me some excellent portrait opportunities and also allows the couple to have a few moments to themselves and just take in everything that has happened up to this point. With two young sons, I think Emma and Aaron appreciated the chance to have a quick chat …
And the light … gentle, soft, beautiful light.
Such a lovely day … to see this young couple celebrate their love with their families and friends and to see how they smiled and laughed and thoroughly enjoyed their day. And with a wedding proposal as well … this just showed me how generous and loving Emma and Aaron really are, kind and thoughtful and loved by all.
