At the FDCC, we regularly have practical evenings.  It’s a great opportunity for us to practice our photography, using lights and set-ups that many of us do not have access to at home.

We asked a couple of members from the Faversham Mission Brass to come along for an informal shoot and we got some great results:

Jim

This is Jim, a tuba player.  This is one heavy instrument and Jim mentioned that when they are playing in cold weather, it is just like cuddling an iceberg!

Becs portrait

I think Becs is the youngest member of the group … but she really joined in and had some great ideas for some more slightly “relaxed” pics …

Becs

Thank you all so much for coming along to the club – it was great to meet you and I hope that you will be pleased with the pictures that we achieved!
