You may remember Kate and James’s wedding from April (blogged here) … when it rained, rained and then rained some more. I really wanted to photograph this lovely “outdoorsy” couple in the sun, and yesterday we finally got together again … Kate was so happy to get back into her dress and James, well he joined in too …
But first, this image just caught my eye – Kate was intending to wear her Timberlands and “rock her frock” across the fields …
However, she just looked so gorgeous and we were having such fun, that we forgot!
And then James arrived …
There is so much potential around the area where Kate and James are living, that we really were spoilt for choice …
I made them walk up the driveway … and then back down again …
We went to the bottom of the hill …
And then walked back up …
There were so many wonderful images from yesterday that I found it difficult to choose which images to show … the image with Kate and the parasol was actually an accident as I had used the wrong settings, but I love the rays of sunlight … and the picture on the right brings tears to my eyes … such love and emotion …
I enjoyed every minute of our session (and the jaffa cakes too …). I am so glad that we got some beautiful images of you both … thank you again!
Gorgeous, Sam – I think this is your best work yet, really beautiful.
Thanks Liz, that is really kind. Of course, I was inspired by our shoot together and used some great off-camera lighting (thanks to Rich for that!).
These are wonderful Sam! I especially love the ones of Kate on her own at the beginning, and them walking down the driveway together!
Thanks so much Caroline. They are just such a lovely couple and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Great job on these Samantha – that first one of the shoes is superb.
Thanks Alan – I liked the juxtaposition of the roughness of the shoes and the beautiful of the hair accessory!
Wow – they’re lovely Sam!
Thanks so much Amanda, that’s very kind!
Lovely Sam. Well worth revisiting in the sunshine.
