Stonelees Golf Centre is, as you can imagine, a beautiful place to celebrate a wedding with stunning manicured grounds.

Toni and Jason’s wedding (which had been delayed by Covid) was one which couldn’t wait to be part of. Having photographed Toni’s sister Billie’s wedding to Blake at Stonelees nearly four years ago, I felt as though I was amongst family. As soon as I arrived for bridal preps and saw Toni again, I knew this was going to be a day filled with love and lots and lots of laughter.

The room was full of laughter, lots of phone calls about make-up but time to think about the day ahead at Stonelees. The weather could not have been. more perfect. Warm but with a gentle breeze.

I found Jason and we managed to find an area out of the wind but with some great colours in the trees that complemented the orange tie and handkerchief. The suits for the boys were a fabulous checked blue. Striking!

Possibly the cutest flower girls and page boy that I’ve seen at a wedding … Betsy, Poppy and Sid did a great job!

The ceremony gardens at Stonelees have some beautiful areas of covered shade which was really handy for formals. We had worked out our list and Toni’s best friend, Donna, helped me gather the troops so that we could work through them quickly and efficiently.

Speeches were before the meal … and Jason really outdid himself with his gifts for his new wife who is now officially a “Smiffy”. The mannequin was an added bonus …

The time seemed to go so quickly and before we knew it, it was time to go out on the golf buggy trip around the grounds at Stonelees. Toni and Jason wanted a few quick images before going back to spend more time with their guests.

Cake cutting and first dance quickly followed and Toni had an outfit change into a lovely one shouldered, tea length dress for the evening.

The day passed so quickly, it felt like we were in a whirlwind, surrounded by family and so much joy. It truly was an honour to be part of your wedding day and to spend time with your families. Congratulations to you both, you deserved this wonderful day. Much love Sam xx
