A Thursday wedding. At a venue that I know well. And to be recommended by the cake maker. Perfect! I was delighted to join Wendy and Andy for their wedding celebrations at Hadlow Manor near Tonbridge with a close knit group of friends and family and, considering we are coming to end of summer, we were so lucky with the weather and their guests enjoyed drinks on the terrace before being seated for the wedding breakfast.

The autumn themed wedding cake created by Gill from Gills Cakes and Cupcakes was stunning and the attention to detail on the falling leaves, all made by hand, really got the attention of the guests. And it seemed the perfect backdrop against which to photograph the wedding rings.

There was barely a dry eye in the house – Wendy’s father has been unwell but was able to make it to the ceremony and proudly gave his daughter away.

Wendy looked beautiful in her bridal gown from Victoria Grace Bridal and her matron of honour and bridesmaids complemented her in their mint green dresses.

Background music was provided during the ceremony and drinks reception by the talented duo, Karina and Adel from just2harpduo.com

The grounds are still looking beautiful at Hadlow Manor and we also had time for a cheeky shot down into the stair well.

A beautiful day with a lovely couple who have truly found happiness with each other. It was a pleasure to be part of your day and to spend time with you and your families. Wishing you both a fabulous honeymoon and looking forward to sharing your images with you very soon xx
